Menu Planning Day 3

Great job everyone! We are turning into menu planning machines!!!!! Look at how far we have come! From no idea how to plan, to index cards, to calendars to, to, um, let’s see oh ya! That’s the surprise for today! Don’t worry, tho’ this one will be much easier that the other two. Ready? Because here we go!

Day three: checking for supplies! Not my favorite thing to do, but alas, it must be done. Be brave my friends, be brave! Ok, since you have written down your meals for the week, now is the time to see if you have any of the supplies on hand. How do I do that? You ask? You just roll up your sleeves, set your mind to it, and start searching! Search everywhere food might be found! Check the pantry! Check the fridge! Check the freezer! If you have all the supplies for a meal, put a star on the calendar under the meal. This way you won’t buy what you don’t need. If you don’t have any/all the supplies, put a check mark under that day’s meal. Whew! We did it! We can conquer anything we put our minds to! We are invincible! We are getting carried away! Remember that lemonade from yesterday? Go have two glasses today! You’ve earned it! See you all tomorrow!
